MIB President H. Wes Pratt and its Board of Directors announced today that Ms. Darline Mabins, who has worked in the financial sector for 20 years and in management for 17 years from Arvest Bank, will be the next Executive Director for MIB. Ms. Mabins has worked as the Branch Sales Manager and Regional Branch Manager during her employment with Arvest.
Ms. Mabins has called this city and community home for she and her family for 21 years. She was born in Port au Prince Haiti and raised in Kansas City MO. She has been an active member of this community through networking, board involvement and volunteerism. She believes in valuing the inclusion of diversity and promoting equity for our minority, women, and disadvantaged businesses as well as our small, local, and emerging businesses.
Ms. Mabins’ current civic involvement includes the Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation and the Springfield Public Library Foundation. She and her husband, Shawn, are also small business owners and currently lead the team at Drain Pro Plumbing. In her free time, she is also an active mother of four young Springfieldians and loves to read.
